June 22, 2008 – 8:18 pm

The new version of Email This! is now live on Mozilla’s servers.
The rest of this post is a reiteration of my previous post.
Read on for the download link!

Hi Everyone,

As promised, this version contains the fix for Yahoo! I’ve submitted the newest version to Mozilla’s and Songbird’s respective servers. As usual, the extension is in Mozilla’s queue awaiting approval. If you can’t wait, you’re more than welcome to download it from songbird’s server, which is already available for download.

Version 2.2.2 (June 22, 2008)
1. Yahoo-This! has been fixed and modified to work with all countries/regions.
2. New Hot-key for Gmail: (Accel + G)
3. New Hot-key for Yahoo: (Accel + Y)
4. New Hot-key for Google Apps Gmail: (Accel + A)
5. New Hot-keys for Offline Mail Clients: (Accel + M, Accel + H)

Download
Download from Mozilla - Version 2.2.2
Download from Songbird - Version 2.2.2

The method in which Yahoo This! will work is a bit different, so please read these new instructions (which are also listed on the Email This! Project Page, Mozilla Download Page, Songbird Download Page, and Email This’ Extension Preferences Tab).

For Yahoo
Go To: Tools >> Add-Ons >> Email This! Preferences.
Login to Yahoo Mail Classic and look at the Url/Addres Bar
You should see something similar to: http://us.mc590.mail.yahoo.com/
Not everyone will have us.mc590 after http:// and before mail.yahoo.com
Write in the potion after http:// and before mail.yahoo.com in the text box below
For instance, I would write in us.mc590 for my Yahoo account.
The extension will work the same as it does for Gmail and Google Apps Gmail after these configurations will be put in place.

  2. I type in us.f834 for my server info and it gives me a 404 error. I guess it still won’t work.

  5. Shawn,

Can you email me with the whole URL/address you see when you login to yahoo mail classic - (arthur@lazyrussian.com).

I have a feeling about something that I thought might no be important until now.

    Thanks.
